A farbrengen and awards ceremony was held recently, marking the end of a successful year at Yeshivas Tzeirei Hashluchim in Tzfas.
Speakers included Principal Rabbi Shlomo Azraf, Shliach Rabbi Chaim Kaplan, and Rosh Yeshiva Sholom Ber Hertzel.
Four students recited a siyum on masechtos that they had learned during the course of the year, Avraham Alperowitz from Vienna, Mendel Avtzon from Hong Kong, Daniel Schwartman from Beitar, Israel and Bentzion Elman from Milwaukee.
Student Yisroel Arye Leib Kievman of England spoke as well.
Afterwards, a farbrengen was held with Rabbi Kaplan, which lasted well into the night.
A Rosh Yeshivah in the making! Zol der tate un der mama shepen a sach chassidisher nachas!
Its great to see all the rabbis from my old yeshiva..really miss all of you especially Rabbi Hertzal.
but trying to create a good environment for the bochurim who go there to feel at ease as they get in to the system of Yeshiva. Very smart actually – look at the results.
Cmon, and you survived the seminary experience enough to let us know about it, right?
Imagine the lives they lived in Europe just a few decades ago – let’s not get too spoiled here…
to see how americanized they live in Tzfat. this is far from the way we lived in seminary….
