Lag B’Omer was celebrated by the Jewish community in the old city of Tzfas in a fun and meaningful way.
More than 300 boys and girls, including a marching band, marched in separately scheduled parades, from the landmark park Gan Ha-Ir in Tsfas, to the Chabad House of the Old City.
“The parades, attended by mostly non-Lubavitch chassidishe children, their families and others, were a great success,” said local Shliach Rabbi Gavriel Marzel. “A great time was had by all, as the whole community joined in a statement of joyful achdus.”
