Sunday evening, R’ Meir Shiff, a Chabad chosid from the city of Yitzhar that was spending sukkos in Tzfas, spotted a fire in a Sukkah of Yehonatan Yaakov who lives on the outskirts of the Chabad neighborhood of Tzfas. With another Lubavitcher he dashed into the burning sukkah through a neighbor’s window and began fighting the flames. The firefighters that arrived at the scene shortly after praised his heroic act for succesfully preventing a tragedy.
