Along with such easily tossed out phrases such as “Don’t judge a book by its cover” and “Don’t cry over spilled milk”, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” is another one of those “in one ear, out the other” cliches of life.
Or is it?
This is the subject that will receive an evening of attention on Tuesday, June 10, 12 Sivan. Crown Heights Junior N’shei will be holding its final event of the year at Lubavitcher Yeshiva and it promises to be an unforgettable one.
Mrs. Devorie Kreiman is a mother, educator and educational consultant who continues to inspire others with her story of strength. To use the language of the saying, Mrs. Kreiman has had more than her fair share of lemons, yet continues to make world-famous lemonade. She has risen beyond loss and sadness to achieve even more and encourage others in their own journeys.
The evening will also include Junior N’shei’s annual grand auction, featuring prize packages such as “A Beautiful You”, with jewelry, makeup and more, and “A Shabbosdik You” featuring all that you need to make shabbos minus the cooking! A “like and share” contest on Facebook is currently running for participants to win a raffle entry into each prize.
Doors open at 8:00 PM and the program begins a half hour later. With the price of admission, the first 200 participants will receive a free gift. Ladies are invited to come hungry and enjoy a delicious hot buffet courtesy of The Marketplace! This is Junior N’shei’s last event of the year before the summer break. Organizers hope to see old and new faces alike to enjoy this special evening!

So nice that the Jr. N’shei is able to attract such a wide spectrum of participants. P.S. Devorie Krieman really is a phenomenal and inspiring speaker; so, if you’re sitting on the fence about attending this event, don’t! She’s worth the effort.
