Yeshivas Lubavitch Oholei Menachem Mendel, Toronto has launched a Charidy campaign aiming to raise $120,000 for the Yeshiva.
The Yeshiva, which is now entering its 20th year BH, has educated thousands of bochurim to the highest standards of learning and yiras shomayim, and now boasts alumni across the globe in positions of leadership and serving as pillars of their community.
The campaign is a 24 hour challenge, starting 3:00 pm on Thursday October 22 until 3:00 pm on Friday October 23.
Yeshivas Lubavitch, Toronto was originally established by the Rebbe in 5717. Exactly 40 years later, in 5757, it was re-opened by Rabbi Yona Shur and a group of anash and shluchim, with Rabbi Akiva Wagner serving as Rosh Yeshiva.
“Since then,” observed Rabbi Wagner, “the constant growth and incredible success has been nothing short of miraculous. Over the past two decades, the landscape of Jewish Toronto and beyond has been indelibly marked by the presence of the bochurim.”
But the Yeshiva urgently needs funds, to be able to accommodate all of the applicants who turn to them.
This is an unprecedented opportunity in which everyone can play a part in this important endeavor, and know that every single donation, large or small, is making a real difference.
WHETHER YOU, YOUR SON, GRANDSON, FRIEND OR RELATIVE LEARNED IN TORONTO, NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO GIVE BACK.
All donations on the day of the event will be QUADRUPLED thanks to generous matching donations. However, if the campaign does not meet the goal within 24 hours, NONE of the pledges are processed or collected.

You can too! My son came home such a mench from this yeshiva
A really great Yeshivah! Very dedicated and caring hanholo, where every single bochur is valued and cared for begashmius u’beruchnius. A yasher koach especially to the Hanholo and bochrim shluchim who so selflessly dedicate themselves to making the Toronto Yeshivah one of the finest yeshivos in Lubavitch today. Fortunate are those bochrim who are talmidim there. The Yeshivah truly deserves all the support you can give!
My family comes from Hungarian Chassidim so I am not a real misnagid but I have adopted the Litvish derch. I live near this Lubavitcher Yeshiva. There are also two other yeshivas nearby: Nachlas Tzvi and Yeshiva Gedolah. I observe the bochurim from all three yeshivos. I never farhered the bochurim to compare their yediyas HaTorah. I never entered the Bais Hamedresh to examine their hasmodeh. But from seeing them in the street I did make observasions. I can tell you as an “outsider looking in” that as a group, the bochurim of Yeshivas Lubavitch have an aura of kedusha… Read more »
