On a recent Motzei Shabbos, shluchim to the Chabad educational institutions in Toronto gathered for a Melave Malka.
The event was held to inspire each other and give each other chizuk in their Shlichus.
During the evening, they enjoyed a sumptuous seudah, sang nigunim and heard divrei chizuk.
They then all signed a duch to be sent to the Rebbe and gathered for a group picture as a memento of the uplifting evening.
I’m so happy to see these outstanding, devoted michanchim get their dose of chizuk – so they can continue to improve the spiritual well-being of the community. As a native Torontonian who studied in Cheder Chabad and mesivta (under the tutelage of Rabbi Oster sheyichyeh), it’s so heartwarming to see how with each passing year the number of kids who ‘get pushed out of the system’, keeps declining. So nice to see all of the teachers tohether in one room. I grew up in Toronto and went through the cheder system as well as MLT and YLT! So nice to see all of my mentors in one room! Keep up the great work!!!!
