A Torah completion ceremony will take place Sunday in Crown Heights.
The Torah is being written by the Levy family in conjunction with the Besht center, in memory of Chayala Levy OBM.
Chayala, a young girl full of life and energy, exemplified giving and caring for others, and was an example of what it means to love and feel for another.
Chayala was a big baalas chesed and took every opportunity to help others in their time of need. She had a golden voice and also used that to bring much happiness to people and harmony in to this world.
She passed away at the early age of 17 on 19 Teves, 17 years ago.
The Torah is being written by her family in her memory.
The event will take place on Sunday, 1 Tammuz, June 25.
2:00 – 3:30 pm: final letters written at 628 Empire Blvd.
3:30 pm: Marching to Chovevei Torah, 885 Eastern Parkway, via Kingston Avenue
followed by Hakafos and buffet.
All are invited to attend.
