The global event to mark Gimmel Tammuz will take place tonight, Thursday, and the NYPD have an important announcement for the Crown Heights Jewish community.
Street closures include:
Eastern Parkway’s service lane (between Brooklyn and Kingston), will be closed from 9 AM, until midnight. No vehicles will be able to be parked on the service lane at that time.
The two islands will have limited access throughout the day.
Kingston Ave will be closed at 6:30PM
The entire parkway will be shut down at 7PM.
Men’s entrance to the event will be through Kingston Ave.
Women’s entrance through Brooklyn Ave.
COLlive will be providing a live broadcast for those Shluchim unable to participate in a community event.
The event will take place today, from 8:00 – 9:30PM, EST.
