Sounds like a dream trip for your family?
Well you’re in luck, because Kosher Day in Brooklyn, NY, is back again for its third year with another round of irresistible edibles and loads of fun.
Join the thousands of families who will be gathering together on Sunday, September 14 for a full day of mouthwatering and memorable amusement at the annual Kosher Day, hosted by the Jewish Children’s Museum.
Kosher Day is designed to be a dynamic educational experience for families to learn all about Kosher. You will have an unforgettable experience discovering new insights about Jewish foods along with thousands of other families from diverse communities, in a display of remarkable unity.
The past two years proved to be a scrumptious success. Last year alone, over 8,000 people attended this remarkable day of education and unity. As the JCM nears its 3rd grand Kosher Day event, preparations for fresh and exciting features are underway.
The feedback after last year’s event was electric. “My kids really enjoyed themselves today, learning about Kosher in such a fun and hands-on way,” said a father who drove in with his family from Monsey.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the community at this year’s Kosher Day. The entertainment we are planning for this event will be geared for all ages and families are guaranteed a day of education and fun,” said one of the organizers.
Over 20 Kosher companies will be attending to present their products and give out free samples. They are excited to meet the crowds of Kosher consumers and give back to their avid customers.
This year’s Holiday Pavilion, with sponsorships by non-food companies as well, adds an exciting dimension and will keep the attendees involved in preparations for the upcoming Tishrei Holidays.
There will be a honey farm, a shofar making presentation, and an opportunity to pet live sheep and rams and feed them on site at the petting zoo. The Holiday Pavilion will also include an experiential tashlich game where every player is a winner, challah making, Kiddush tasting, and Shana tova card creating.
Finally, get ready to clap and sing at a live concert with Uncle Moishy and to laugh and cheer as you watch riveting shows with the Small Wonder Puppet Theater.
“Kosher Day is a time for fun and food,” says Brigitte Mizrahi of Natural and Kosher Cheese, the main sponsor of the event.
“Everybody has a great time, and gets to go home with something. Everyone in our company dedicates themselves and their families to the event. It is great for us, because we get to skip the middleman and hear directly from the consumer about their experiences, our products, and swap recipes. It’s magic.”
Don’t miss this great day out for the whole family. Entrance is $6 a person and free for children under two. The first 100 attendees will receive a free gift!
“I can’t wait to see everyone there!” says Mizrahi cheerfully.
