The army of Hashem is drafting its soldiers. Today over 5,000 soldiers in 52 bases around the globe will gather together with the intent of bringing peace to Eretz Yisroel and the world at large.
“The Rebbe gave us clear instructions on how to achieve victory,” explains Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson, executive director of Tzivos Hashem. “When an army gathers all its troops, that’s enough to scare away the enemy … and when thousands of Hashem’s soldiers gather to strengthen their commitment to Torah and Mitzvos, the Rebbe explains that this will scare away our enemies.”
Prepared by Tzivos Hashem Headquarters, the rally starts off with a history recap of the Yom Kippur war, taught by Rabbi Yosef Minkowitz of Beth Rivka Montreal. “The Rebbe spoke—and wrote—at length about how children have the power to destroy the enemy.”
It was then that the Rebbe requested rallies be held during the days of Selichos and the Aseres Yemei Teshuva. After the war, when the Rebbe was asked why so much focus was placed on the children, he replied, “They are the ones who can win the war!”
“We find ourselves in a similar situation these days,” says Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum, director of Chayolei Tzivos Hashem. “And once again we turn to the children! Our children! The ones with the power to end these wars and bring the final victory of Moshiach—now!”
“That’s why It’s so important that children realize their special power,” adds Rabbi Mendy Shanowitz Director of Myshliach. As the Rebbe taught: “hakol Kol Yaakov”—when children learn Torah, they weaken the power of Eisov.
Students in every Lubavitch school, as well as yaldei hashluchim, are encouraged to gather for today’s special rally. May their unity acheive the desired outcome, and may we merit to a k’siva v’chasima tova, with the geula ha’amitis v’hashleima, NOW!
it inspired me. I was going to cry,and thank you all soldiers for an amazing rally.thank you Rabbi minkowitz for the amazing facts about the Rebbe
While the global rallies are great, my daughters always come home frightened from the stories told, especially about the war in Israel and boys being kidnapped and murdered.
I am sure that we can inspire these innocent neshamos with positive messages only
