Chabad schools and educational institutions in Israel and around the world dedicated a special segment of the school day to mark Chof Zayin Adar.
On the fateful day 27 years ago, of the 27th of Adar I, 5752 (Monday, March 2, 1992), the Rebbe suffered a disabling stroke while davening at the Ohel of the Frierdiker Rebbe in Queens.
The global effort is coordinated by educator Rabbi Binyomin Zilberstrum of Jerusalem and encouraged by Chabad Rabbis.
During each of the gatherings in respective schools, Chabad boys and girls learned about Guela and Moshiach, recited Tehillim and gave coins to Tzedaka.
Principals and teachers shared remarks on the importance of the actions of each individual to help hasten the coming of Moshiach at the ultimate redemption.
