The Rhetoric Coming From the Radical Left

Applied Chassidus with Rabbi Simon Jacobson: Preparing for Yud Shevat, concern about rhetoric from the radical left, what about those who believe the presidential election was stolen, and shouldn’t we be praying directly to Hashem? Video

The radical left? I am not saying either side is perfect far from it, but who were the protestors (rioters) in DC? Who keeps getting arrested in attempts to get to the inauguration? Let’s not pretend Trump’s constant talk of the stolen election and Gualini actions did not rile people up. Have any of you seen the pictures of the right wing marchers in Michigan and Ohio? The Proud Boys? Liberty Boys? These are not peaceful groups. Trump had played the fringe element of our country and encouraged them. We are seeing the results of it now.

Who has caused billions in damage rioting and looting cities all around the US? Who has been vandalizing shuls? Who marched through LA shouting “kill the Jews”? Who is promoting boycotts against Jews? Who is terrorizing Jews on campus? Who is inciting the the anti-Semitism which is terrorizing frum Jews on the streets of NY, and which led to a mass stabbing and mass shooting incidents in this area recently? Hint: It’s not the right. The NYTimes published a story a little while back which showed that from all anti-Semitic attacks against Jews in NY over the last few years,… Read more »

The so called right wingers who committed violence were few–and there are questions regarding whom they really are. The genuine Trump supporters had no interest in violence but rather in a legitimate election. Don’t believe what the “news” spoon feeds you. There are just a few major corporations that run all of the news outlets. What you hear/see/read is determined by about 4-5 major companies. Do some research. AT&T, Comcast, Disney, and Viacom control most of what we get as “news” and it is NOT in accordance with Torah. Couple that with “wire services” which again are just a few… Read more »

I was blown away by Reb Simon’s clear, concise and practical explanation of chapter 11 of Basi L’Gani as expounded upon by the Rebbes 1961 maamorim. He brings to life the three opinions on aylov v’lo l’midisov – the Ramak, the Besht and the Alter Rebbe – in the most relevant way. To take such a complex topic and make it easy to understand is no small feat. I have never heard chassidus explained so clearly. And you come away appreciating the true power and contribution of Chassidus. Listening to this powerful summary is a great way of preparing for… Read more »

I just finished listening. Yes, it is excellent. I had learned the Rebbes maamar previously. But until I heard this class I could no figure out what the Rebbe was saying.

Thank you

We have gone from being called “Deplorables” to being called “Domestic Terrorists” (Hillary Clilnton) who need to be sent to “reeducation camps” (think the gulags where our Zaidys and alter zaidys were). The Left talks about how we should be “eliminated”. We have been unpersoned. The election has been stolen and the Democrats have a trifecta of government, lamestream media, and big tech. That’s even leaving out their stranglehold on all levels of education from elementary school through university. Now we’re being silenced by big tech. They expect us to sit at home for 4 years in WuFlu quarantine while… Read more »

Was Trump's loss our fault?
January 18, 2021 12:47 pm

The Rav of the Shul I daven in told me he thinks the reason Trump failed in the election was because we put too much reliance on Trump – more than on HaShem. So, what did Hashem do? He put him aside. I thought this was similar to why we faced the danger of death for attending the meal of Achashveirosh – see: https://www.chabad.org/multimedia/audio_cdo/aid/637618/jewish/The-Decree-and-Salvation-of-Purim.htm We put more faith in nature (have to appease the king, our protector, or else…) than Hashem. “Wait a minute! Who is your protector: me or Achashveirosh? Okay, I will withdraw my Divine, miraculous protection from… Read more »

If so, that means we now need open miracles to stop Biden from destroying what’s left of America.

His openly started actions on his first day in office, include

1) Destroying our energy independence starting with closing the keystone pipeline.

2) Closing down all big manufacturing in America to keep up with the demands of the Paris Climate Accords.

and

3) Bringing back all the Jihadist terrorists that Trump banned, from coming into America.

There was one party, and its leader, where mention of G-d was the norm, attributing the vaccines to miracles from G-d, saying and believing “G-d bless America,” helping Israel and Jews, cancelling the Iran deal and its “Sunset Clause,” which enables Iran to get nukes after x number of years to use against Israel, G-d forbid, etc., etc. The other party intentionally left out G-d from the Pledge of Allegiance on a few occasions during their Dem’s convention. No accident. And everything else that I indicated above, the Dems did and do the opposite. There are several Dem members of… Read more »
