The simplicity and ahavas Yisroel demonstrated by the story of the 2 stores is astounding. Then, they wanted to ‘make a living’ i.e. food and shelter for their family. they wanted other yidden to also be able to ‘make a living’. they trusted the Rebbe completely and followed his suggestion without an ounce of doubt. Today, if someone opened a competing store and both of you ‘made a living’, most people would eye the newcomers income as rightfully belonging to him! ‘ if the other guy hadn’t opened, i would have had ALL that income, and been richer!’ in our… Read more »

And I love Tehillim. I pray Psalms every day, so that I finish them all within a month. I never get bored, they always seem new.

This story with its many details had tears rolling down my cheeks. It is just so moving and has touched a deep chord in my soul.
The part of sharing his business with Lipsker as the Rebbe advised is just so awesome! I have heard it before, but hearing it from the author’s personal experience was such so striking!
