The first time I had yechidus in 1967 right before the 6 day war when the women went up individually to him after he spoke to them. At that time the rebbe read my mind as well. I was thinking “I will lie to her” referring to my mother who was against my observing yiddishkeit. The rebbe answered me “no, don’t lie to her, everything will be OK after rosh hashana. Indeed it was OK then as the rebbe said it would be.
