I specifically wrote ‘unsanctioned’ meaning not given out by the official parade. There should be a rule that only sanctioned parade flags may be distributed.

You are speaking as if the parade sanctioned the giving out of yellow flags… I for one was very impressed that the parade organizers arranged for there to be specific pink and green parade flags to combat the reaccuring “yellow flag issue”. Thanks to all the organizers of this truly spectacular event, I can’t even imagine the work and coordination that goes into such a production!

I was marching with my daughter’s school and as we were lined up waiting to march a clown handed out yellow flags to the girls. How exciting for them! There was no way the parents and teachers could have been the mean ones and… Read more »

It was amazing!!! A Yaasher Koach to everyone; especially to the Hechts (Rabbi Shimon Hecht), for the great job they do year after year. Additionally, for Rabbi Rosenfeld of Oholei Torah who has built up a great Mosad Chinuch.
