Chabad-Lubavitch of Berks County has overseen the printing of an edition of the Tanya, the central text of Chabad chassidism, for the first time in Reading, Pennsylvania.
The printing, a custom in Chabad to spiritually benefit the location it was done, was in honor of the Bar Mitzvah of Shneur Zalman Lipsker, the son of the local Shluchim Rabbi Yosef and Chana Lipsker.
The 13-year-old is named after Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi, the first Chabad Rebbe and the author of the Tanya, as well as the Shulchan Aruch Harav – Code of Jewish Law.
This video was produced and presented at the Bar Mitzvah celebration and narrated by Mrs. Lipsker. It was edited by Moishy Raskin and Getzy Raskin.

AMAZNG
very nice!!!!!
very nice
really puts it into perspective.
Channa, well done!! Just one point, the Alter Rebbe was a student of the Maggid of Mezhrich, not of the Baal Shem Tov, perhaps this could be corrected.
May you go from strength to strength!
mazal tov.
it’s great to see shluchim making their simchos not only about themselves, but also making sure the rebbe would be proud of them. By taking the opportunity that they have when so many people turn up to a simcha, and educating them about torah, and yiddishkeit. The Rebbe is surely smiling right now
I was literally blown away! Such a clear lucid beautiful explanation!!
Well done!!!
