Righteous Fundraising would like to thank the community for their outpouring of generosity. We asked for your help, and you showed up. Together we were able to save two families from eviction.
Here are their responses to the donations.
Dear Righteous and Rabbi Feller,
For months, I have been davening to Hashem to help us out of this mess. Every month, unexpected expenses would come up, and we would continue to fall more and more behind on our rent. When I
got the eviction notice, I couldn’t sleep.
You don’t know- but you literally saved our family from being kicked out on the streets- Please thank every single person who helped us keep a roof over our heads. IYH, I hope to be on the giving end in the future and not on the receiving end. Please continue your holy work.
Dear Righteous,
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! The Aibeshter should bentch you and everyone who helped us pay the rent that we owed to our landlord. You cannot imagine the worry and stress I have been
under these last few months trying to catch up on all the money we owe. Now I can breathe a little easier. Thank you!
Unfortunately, we only raised enough money to help two of the three families that turned to us for help, and more requests have come in since then.
Please help families in our community keep a roof over their heads and donate now!
That’s beautiful that these families are safe. But now what. How are they supposed to pay rent in the future.
I know many men who just aren’t equipped or don’t know his to make a better living.
Give them fish. Or a fishing rod ?
Help them train for a better job or if you have a business, hire them
Wives, if your kids are in school then that goes for you too.
Bh we have training for young people but middle age people get into a rut. We definitely need more resources in this area
