On Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at approximately 2:30 PM a Crown Heights resident called the Shmira hotline to report that a group of three young teenagers had thrown large rocks at his car while he was driving.
Shmira members responded immediately to the location of the incident and kept an eye on the perpetrators.
Seconds later, the three perps split up and fled in different directions. The determined Shmira members gave chase and apprehended them a couple of blocks later and held them for the police.
Police interviewed the victim and placed all three teenagers under arrest.
The NYPD thanked the Shmira members for their swift and appropriate actions.

I was there and saw about 10 shmira guys chasing the perps.
Shmira got the cops down with in minutes.

The same kids were throwing rocks near Bais Rivka at 1:30 on Lefferts and Balfour. 3 rocks hit my van…was really scary 🙁
IT was the NYPD in a cop car that actually chased down 2 of the kids and caught them (running into the school)
The perp looks young. The Schools need to run regular “sensitivity” classes for our Youths. Where do these kids learn this kind of behavior? What’s the emblem on his shirt?
