Friends and family of Levi “Teddy” Nemon obm, who tragically passed away one month ago at the age of 21 months, gathered to mark his shloshim in Crown Heights.
Dr. Binyomin Nemon, Teddy’s father, made a Siyum Hamishnayos and said kaddish, upon all the Sisha Sidrei Mishnayos that members of the community took on to learn over the course of Shloshim in memory of Teddy.
Following the Siyum, a heartfelt slideshow was shown with many beautiful pictures of Teddy and his siblings during his short life, leaving the people in the room in tears. The video, which was prepared by Teddy’s sister Leah Nemon, was set to the original composition by composer Sarah Dukes in memory of a boy who everyone called sweet, precious, and beloved.
The main speaker of the night was Rabbi Michoel Seligson, who spoke about the Rebbe’s words on the Shloshim of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka. The Rebbe explained that Shloshim is both the end of a Tekufa of mourning, but is also connected to the ultimate Geulah.
They must miss him so much:( may the family have strength and comfort and only blessings.
A piece of this family’s hearts has been ripped away…
