From the COLlive Inbox:
A very big thank you is owed to the dedicated Bais Rivka Kittah א-ג Morahs, who despite all showed today that learning never ends!
My daughter, and countless other girls, were privileged to spend Friday morning learning in different homes. And I can only imagine what that must have been like Pre-Pesach!
A greatful parent
Her students are so lucky to have her! Creative, energetic, devoted and sensitive 🙂 keep doing your thing!
These teachers are the best in Lubavitch, if not the best in the world! These teachers are really to be admired and respected. Just wondering: is it not counterproductive to teach while on strike? Unfortunately, between all these boards, meetings, and other forms of shtuyot, there is still lacking one basic basic ingredient: a high esteem for teachers. It pains me to see how while the teachers continue to go above and beyond their duty, the administration falls short. For the teachers it is clear that they are here for the students. For the administration it is clear that they… Read more »
Morah Avtzon we can’t thank you enough!!
Every thing you do for our girls thank you
Obviously it’s a play on words… they are greatful – full of great appreciation.
That’s how it’s spelled.
Shazak Parsha app is a great non-teacher way to learn the Parsha… Boduk UMenusah
Viable solution/alternative for a day or two, but its a major health, fire and safety issue when so many little children are in a confined space. Beautiful to see kids learning, but they need to be very very careful to ensure safe environments.
I love how everyone is saying pay the teachers directly as if EVERYBODY is paying and the only issue is, is that beis rivkah keeps forgetting to pay the teachers… If everyone on COLlive is paying where is the rest of the parents? Oh right, their busy having heart attacks over pesach expenses…
When (if) you work, do you expect to get paid? If you don’t get paid for overtime or holidays… or a normal day’s work, would YOU show up and continue doing your job?
That’s why these dedicated teachers deserve our respect, admiration & gratitude & no, I don’t have anyone in Beis Rivkah so it makes no difference to me.
For thousands of years one room school house with a teacher and the world albite girls weren’t taught.
we love you!!
Lucky to have the most dedicated teachers for our girls!!!
Let the parents pay the teachers directly
Kolchakovod to all our Bais rivka teachers we love nechama weiser
Why is this looked at a good cause. Most of the teachers did not go on strike. There is something wrong with praising this.
The real way to accomplish a change is to go to Philadelphia and demand change.
Perhaps we can hire some people to go there during chal homoed to demand change
Amazing such dedication!
You, the teachers who gave of their time, make the Rebbe proud and bring nachas to Hashem.
The teachers deserve all our respect.
Look how nice the girls are sitting and learning and davening. They will remember this day for the rest of their lives. As suggested earlier, pay your tuition to the teachers directly. Until the “bored” gets rid of the old ineffective/scandalous administrators and pays all the back salary to the teachers all parents should pay directly to the teachers.
Amazing such dedication!
Thank you!! May you be bentched with kol tuv!!!!
Thank u for all your dedication! I hope the issue in the administration is resolved very soon.
bs”d
and yashar koach to the families who opened their homes to these classes with it being erev pesach!
where are we!!!! mosdos all around the world ! and in the shechuna were collapsing?
I wish all year kids learned one this, instead of the shtusim schools put in their walls because if government sms secular studies…Real feel with sefarim, menorahs, Rebbe pictures, etc learning around table with Morah, so zees*!!!!
Now just pay tuition straight to teachers, salary gets paid in full, no need for other expenses (you’ll actually be helping pay teachers rent , there we go problem fixed.)
