Vaad Hakohol: “Go Out of Your Home This Shabbos Afternoon”

In response to the reports of a pro-Hamas rally this Shabbos near Crown Heights, the Vaad Hakohol has issued a call to all shuls of Crown Heights to conduct regular Mincha services at the unified time of 5 pm. The importance of Crown Heights was on full display again this year with the annual gathering of celebrities at the succah of Chanina and Orly Sperlin on Tuesday. Israel's Economy Minister Nir Barkat was given an extensive tour of 770 Eastern Parkway and the Rebbe's Library in Crown Heights on Tuesday, accompanied by Rabbi Chanina Sperlin of Crown Heights, and Rabbi Yosef and Mendy Carlebach of New Jersey.
