A beacon of light, warmth, and comfort
Like the sun’s glow during its golden hour
As it surges forth through every crevice in the distance
To reach all who may not even be searching
With a love that traveled beyond the walls of school
Mrs. Majesky was an exceptional mechaneches
Always extending of herself beyond the quota
And catering to every student’s unique needs
We always knew there was someone at school who cared
About our social life, personal growth, family dynamics- far beyond the academics
She was someone you could speak with honestly
Because you trusted she had your best interest in mind
I recall one winter’s morning coming to school in a light jacket
And Mrs. Majesky, standing outdoors as she greeted me
Asked me a question that I will always remember
“Are you warm enough in that coat?”
During a time of insecurity and transition
When I probably felt awkward in the warm coat I had
I was noticed and mattered
Such genuine care is not something a student takes for granted
As we navigated the challenges of adolescence
She was truly invested in us reaching our potential
Believing in a higher standard than we could for ourselves
As every good mother would for her children
It’s with a heavy heart that I wish her well in moving on
She will always be my vision of how to lead greatly with dignity and strength
Her students will always have a part of her within us
I am forever grateful to her for being such a pivotal part of my life
if only every student can say that about their principal
She was a very nice and caring to the students she is going to be missed very much
Beautifully written!!! How lucky you all are to have had such a caring principal!!!

I sincerely hope you read this. I hope you’re walking away knowing what you instilled in us bec words can’t express that. I hope you walk in the street proud knowing you raised us. Bec I know I do. I walk in the street proud knowing my principal saw me. She saw me. I wasn’t a number, I was her student. She knew ME. You pushed me when I failed and helped me get up and celebrate my accomplishments and achievements. You knew when I needed a push of confidence and and a pat on the back. I thank my… Read more »

BNOS MENACHEM CAN NOT POSSIBLY BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOUR PRESENCE….TOO BIG SHOES FOR ANYONE TO FILL..😭😭
I hope those who made this decision to let Mrs Majesky go, come to recognize just how much they are losing, and how foolish a mistake it was.
She was the glue holdng the highschool together.
Keeping things at bay…
Hatzlacha with all that comes ahead, mainly to the school because they will need it most once Mrs Majesky is gone.
Beautifully written. Mrs Majeski is a true dugma chaya who is a caring and special menachaneses. She knows each student individually always making us feel like we are special, always caring for us and helping us achieve our greatest potential and always believing in each of us. Mrs Majeski made the school what it is today and provided me the care and best chinuch. Thank you for everything.
My daughter was also under her care. I recall getting a personal nachas call from her for something she noticed. And that she would make sure the girls were in her office with her when she made that call! And also recall during a particularly stressful time at home where my daughter was late for school a couple of days I received a phone call from her. Not to talk with me about my daughter’s lateness but instead to tell me she had taken my daughter aside and praised her for being such an example of how a chassidishe girl… Read more »
As an out of town parent, I thought long and hard about where to send my daughter for high school. For the past 3 years I’ve interviewed parents from all high school in US to see where would be best for my daughter. I ended up registering her to bnos Menachem because every parent I spoke to had only the highest praise about Mrs Majesky. I really wanted my daughter to feel like a diamond. I am so disappointed that she’s leaving. It was my only reason for choosing this school over all others. My daughter didn’t get to have… Read more »
I know it’s hard to adapt to change. I don’t know why they let Mrs. Majesky go. But why don’t you wait and see how things go before you get all depressed.
Give someone a chance to show everyone that though they are stepping into huge shoes, they are going to amaze all of you.
THINK POSITIVE. isn’t that how the saying goes?
A true crown heights shulucha treating r own with love and true caring, just like her parents, showed her by example, and all there children go in their way always with genuine smiles even to r own who need it so much.
A crown st neighbor
Beautiful poem Brochi.
In all my life, in all my years, I have never encountered another principal like Mrs Majesky. She is the reason I thrived in high school . She cared and cried and laughed with me and for me. BNOS Menachem will never be the same without her, they can’t possibly know what they are loosing.
Hatzlacha Mrs Majesky, we your students love you.
