Rabbi Shaya Raskin of London, England, has returned home Friday after a long battle with coronavirus and was greeted with dancing in the streets by family and friends.
After returning home in an ambulance, Rabbi Raskin was greeted by a large crowd in front of his home, who broke into joyous singing and dancing at his return.
“With hearts overflowing with gladness and gratitude to Hashem, we are totally overjoyed to be able to share with you, that BeChasdei Hashem, my husband, Refoel Avrohom Yeshaya Ben Rivka, whose name, you’ve all been storming the heavens for, is coming home,” wrote his wife, Chanie Raskin.
“Your intense and dedicated tehillim and teffilos are what have carried us through this, and BH resulted in the most wonderful Besurois toivois!” she said.
“You’ve all walked this long long journey with us, each one of you, all these days and weeks, and Hashem heard your teffilos, and we will never be able to thank you enough…because there simply are no words that exist of that magnitude!
“Suffice it to say, we will never forget your incredible Chessed during this time!” she said.
