For your information, there are some Crown Heights merchants who do so much chessed and have so much money owed to them by desperately poor people in Kan Tziva that they, themselves have problems putting food (other than what they sell) on their tables.
This IS Black Friday. For once, the balance of those who dress as a Lubavitcher should versus the jeans-clad Chabad-Lite crowd will be in favor of the Men in Black!
Thanks to all the store owners for all these specials and thanks to the CH community for always hosting us out of towners. My husband is on his way from South Africa to his very first kinus and I will let him know about all the specials that you have. He is going to have a lot of fun shopping for his family.
