Following the success of the International Siyum HaRambam, organized by Rabbi Shmuel Butman and viewed by thousands around the world, Chayenu will hold an online Siyum on Thursday.
Chayenu’s Online Live Siyum will be unique in that it will spotlight everyday ordinary people, like you and me, who learn Rambam.
The Siyumim will be made by an attorney in Brooklyn, a journalist in Israel and a property developer in South Africa. We will hear from a doctor in Hawaii, a businessman in Toronto and a realtor in LA, who all learn Daily Rambam.
Highlights of the Program also include:
A Livestream from the Rambam’s Kever in Tverye, Israel.
A Livestream from the Rebbe’s Ohel, as well as video clips from the Rebbe.
An Interview with the man who spent 20 years translating Mishneh Torah in English, Rabbi Eli Touger.
Up close view of an original manuscript of the Rambam, with commentary by the Rabbi who has seen the originals.
Video by JLI with a biography of Rambam’s life.
Keynote address by Rabbi Mendel Kaplan of Chabad Flamingo.
Address by renowned lecturer Rabbi Shais Taub
MC will be Chony Milecki
LIVE:
The Siyumim will be broadcast live this Thursday, 17th of Tammuz, at 1:30 pm ET (8:30 pm in Israel) at Siyum.Live and on COLlive.com.
Chayenu has brought the study of Rambam, through its print publication and app, to a demographic well beyond Lubavitchers. This was and is the Rebbe’s vision for Rambam Yomi. That it be accessible to every Jew.
This event, while meaningful and exciting for any English-speaking Chabad Chosid will also be relevant to a broader audience, like Chabad House Mekurovim and the wider Jewish community.
This year’s Siyum marks the close of the 39th cycle, for those who study 3 chapters per day, and the 13th cycle completion for those who study 1 chapter per day. Thus, we are embarking on the 40th / 14th cycle going forward. There will be a Siyum – and Launch of the new cycle – of all three tracks, including the Sefer Hamitzvos.
The event is being organized by Chayenu, which has become a force and a resource for Daily Rambam Study worldwide. Today, Chayenu has over 22,000 students in over 600 cities across the globe. The range of demographics is a representation of the kaleidoscope of Klal Yisroel.
Join LIVE on Thursday, 1:30 PM Eastern Time, 8:30 PM in Israel, 7:30 PM in South Africa, 6:30 PM in UK, 10:30 AM on the West Coast of USA.

The event is being produced and directed by Dovid Weinbaum of A Team Production, with filming and broadcasting done by FlowMotion Studios led by Yankee Teitelbaum and Bracha Torenheim.
ZOOM – “after party”
Immediately following the Live Broadcast, Chayenu is inviting its worldwide community of subscribers – and anyone interested – in joining a Live Zoom session, where people are invited to come forward and share their personal experience of learning Rambam. This will be more informal. We will also hear from women who have studied the three tracks.
Come share your Rambam story: how you came to learn Rambam, interesting places you’ve learned Rambam, challenges you’ve overcome in order to study Rambam, or general inspiration.
