Mrs. Simi Weinhause, a resident of Detroit, Michigan, passed away on Shabbos, Rosh Chodesh Nissan, 5775.
She was 61 and passed away after a long battle with a very painful illness.
During Mrs. Weinhause’s short life, she dealt with many challenges, and severe tragedy. She lost her first husband and was left to raise her three children alone.
Later she married Dr. Yitzchak Weinhause.
Mrs. Weinhause was a woman of incredible courage. She was a very modern woman, with a very traditional heart and soul. She was raised to never question G-d, and lived her life and accepted the tests her creator gave her, with humility, dignity, wisdom and an indefatigable joy of life.
The lessons of faith she learned from her parents, her late father Reb Shaul Yecheskel Stern Z”L and Yibadel Lichayim Tovim Mrs. Sylvia Stern, she lived absolutely. She was a woman of incredible wisdom, kindness and had an extraordinary ability to be very present in every relationship she had. When you spoke to her, you were the most important thing in the world; you would not only meant to feel that way, that is in fact how she felt. She touched the lives of anybody she met and left an impression that will last a lifetime.
Her loss leaves a void in the lives and hearts of so many, most of all in the lives of her husband and her orphaned children.
She is survived by her husband Dr. Yitzchak (Elliot) Weinhause and her four children, Chana Rochel Rubenfeld, Chaya, Rena and Naftali Weinhause.
She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Sylvia Stern, brother Moshe Stern, and sister Mrs. Rechel Paltiel (Rabbi Aba Paltiel’s wife) of Crown Heights.
Mrs. Paltiel is sitting Shiva with her mother at her home at 679 Crown St. They will be sitting until Friday afternoon.
Shiva hours: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Baruch Dayan Haemes.
We are deeply saddened by your loss. We send our thoughts and prayers to the entire Weinhause and Palteil families.

Bde.
Rechy, I’m so sorry to here of your loss. If your sister was anything like you, I know she will be sorely missed. Condolences to her husband, and kids and all the family.
I will never forget her refinement, dignity and strength after the sudden loss of her first husband a”h and how devoted she was to her three daughters, one of whom was an infant at the time. We were so happy when she was blessed to remarry and her passing is quite a shock. May Hashem give her children much strength.
May they only ever have good news from now on.
May we only hear good news from now on.
