Keren Simchas Chosson V’Kallah in Crown Heights has formed a Young Leadership Committee to help expand the organization which assists needy couples with wedding expenses.
The committee is headed by Moshe Frank, director of Meshulach Marketing, a consulting company for non-profits.
Attending this week’s meeting kicking off the activities of the new committee were 20 young entrepeneurs and businessmen from all over the tri-state area, including Crown Heights, Manhattan, the Five Towns and New Jersey.
Meeting on the rooftop of 866 Eastern Parkway, they heard from the organization’s directors, Devorah Benjamin and Shmuly Brashevitzky and discussed ideas over fish and beer.
Frank told COLlive the goal is to get young people involved in the work of KSCVK, raise more funds, help more people and and plan the organization’s first-ever dinner, to take place October 20, 2012.
Committee members are Bruce Backman, Isaac Baumgarten, Isser Boyarsky, Yehuda Cohen, Dovid Duchman, Yossi Feiner, Sammy Gertner, Eitan Goldberg, Leib Chaim Goldfarb, Yossi Itzinger, Moshe Kapolow, Chesky Klein, Tyler Kremberg, Eli Lederman, Moti Newman, Ezzy Rappaport, Yoni Roszenberg, Refoel Tessler, Berry Tzfasman, Daniel Weisman, Eli Winner and Chaim Wolmark.

How unfair is that?
always up to doing something good for others

Just a reminder to the committee and everyone else in CH to pay full tuition for their kids before giving any maasar or extra tzedakah to any other org. Before you scream at me i am not saying that you should not give tzedakah to the charity of your choice what i am saying is you should first pay your tuition, once your tuition is paid in FULL then you can go and donate to any other organization. Its about time people stop giving to everyone else and start paying tuition for their children If you disagree please explain why… Read more »
