So so pained to hear this.

She hosted an event I organized and did it with so much warmth, joy, and grace that I felt like she was my mother hosting.

I was really touched by her.

Thinking of you Shaina Basha during this hard time 💔

I’m sitting here in disbelief. I was in seminary with Sima, and she really did bring Simcha to everyone around her. She was very funny and sang a lot.
My deepest condolences to the family for this tragic loss of a wonderful woman.

So very sad. She was the first person to reach out to us and Invite us to her lovely home for a meal after we moved to the block. Incredibly special and strong lady.

I am in absolute shock! Sima was the first to open her heart and home to me when I spent my year in CH with no family or friends over 36 years ago. Her chesed was her DNA .

Not to be believed...

Sima was an unforgettable personality who optimistically and purposefully always managed to take things in stride and make life “work”. She made it her business to not let petty stuff get in the way of living. To Sima that meant living for pleasure by living for purpose. She combined this derech hachayim with a simchas hachayim and a can-do attitude that made everyone she came in touch with feel like life was manageable.
In the truest sense of the words, Chaval al d’abdeen v’lo mishtakcheen….

We can all learn from this

sima was a mentor for bais rivkah mothers
May 23, 2022 11:27 am

Mrs. Lerman had a mentoring program for young bais rivkah mothers and i got to know sima when my oldest was in 8th grade. she wanted to take me out to eat but since i had small babies i prefered she come visit me in my house. so she started to visit me at my home and i liked her very much. she gave me confidence in my parenting, and was always complimenting and uplifting me, and was so proud of my children and i miss her so much. moshiach should come and we should see sima again.
