On Wednesday night, November 17, Chassidic singer Yaakov Shwekey and child prodigy Ethan Bortnick performed for the Ten Yad organization in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The concert, celebrating the institution’s eighteenth year of social services and care for Brazil’s needy, featured the two entertainers in solo performances and a special duet.
Shwekey was joined by the boys of the Pirchei Choir of Safra’s Beit Yaacov School in Brazil as well.
During the show, which included many hits from his latest album ‘Libi Bamizrach,’ Shwekey sang a medley of Chabad niggunim and danced with Shliach Rabbi Y. David Weitman, the organization’s director.
The show was to benefit the Ten Yad Organization, directed by Rabbi Weitman, an organization that provides food and other services to the needy in Brazil.
