look in torah
February 11, 2010 9:58 am

torah says it doesnt matter who or what you think the person did, until he is actually put to death, you must do all you can to save him. this is the reason that when a jew was sentenced to death, they would take him out slowly, maybe someone will come with another doubt and they wont need to kill him, and thats after bes din decided to kill him which means it ws really serious and proven beyond any doubt. it is our responsibility to do whatever we can to save a jew even if he would be deserving… Read more »

are you serious

They should have been put to death YEARS AGO

“As Officer Park reached into her truck to radio dispatch the suspect grabbed her flashlight and started hitting her on the head. Officer Park was able to call for help on the radio and fired a single shot from her weapon, grazing the second suspect, who then held her down. The first suspect then gained control of her service weapon and shot her in the back of the head as the second suspect held her down. The two fled the scene but were arrested a short time later.

MUST CALL!!

You really talk to someone, call up and express your concern!!!!!!!!!!!

I read all the comments above before posting my, rather feeling than opinion. I am sorry if I was misunderstood. I am so sorry but I must agree with you too. I want and do believe that you have the right reason for judging although, as I see in your comment, you yourself are against it with your rhetoric question “…who are we to judge the final result?” This time I would like to be silent. I am just afraid to accept that killing someone for educational reason is wrong because I don’t believe it will prevent some other person… Read more »

When you look at what’s going on here you see someone who killed someone and now has to pay the price, true he may have been on drugs but I guess this is a message to realize that using drugs has consequences!! Also if not for a bunch of crazy liberals there would be no such thing as 25 years on death row. Because it’s not my place to condemn another jew I signed but in general I say: you killed an innocent person you do not deserve to live

remember...

Does anyone remember hearing about the Rosenberg’s case? They were executed and only after did the truth come out that they were murdered wrongly. They left behind children. They too were Jewish.

Who do we think we are?
February 10, 2010 8:08 pm

@22
It’s true that holding people in cells is nothing less than torture but who are you to say that execution is not proper in this case? Pray for him, sign (’tis a joke…or does that sort of thing really work?) if you think that would help, but beyond that…who are we to judge the final result? If there was a bit more caring amongst us and less judging…I’m fairly certain you’d see an end to this sort of thing sooner rather than later.

For Whom the Bell Toll
February 10, 2010 6:31 pm

Why did they prolong his agony for 25years if he was supposed to be executed? Who and how will pay him back this kind of sentence if they execute him now? I agree that there is a crime in this case and that an innocent person has been murdered. I also believe that the murders don’t drop down from the sky. They are here among us and each of us is responsible for what is happening. It should be better if (without exception) each of us spend some more time thinking about what to do to prevent such cases in… Read more »

Some act like this woman did not matter, that is heartless. Mr. Grossman was sentenced to death for “murdering” an innocent woman and all the excuses in the world does not change his heinous crime nor bring this woman back, imagine her parents and what they must have felt….do you think they felt nothing because they are not Jewish? In this world it appears there is an excuse for anything including murder… bad life, addiction to drugs, ect, ect. what about taking reponsibility for our actions, if we don’t start teaching responsibility for our actions there will be more people…yes… Read more »

This is 2nd degree murder at most! (i.e. NOT pre-meditated).
How in the world could he be sentenced to death? b/c she was a cop? Weird. Let’s worry more about pre-meditated arab terrorists

Just curious
February 9, 2010 5:28 pm

When will the governor see this petition, have these petitions helped before?
If someone can clarify please do, it will make it feel ‘more real’, and not just like you are giving away your email address to some other website.

February 9, 2010 5:23 pm

To start with, you need two witnesses and a warning in order to kill someone according to the torah.

And someone who is crazy I believe cannot be killed, and correct me if I’m wrong, but it’s possible that if you are on drugs or alcohol then you are also not responsible.

what would the torah say?
February 9, 2010 3:40 pm
