While being interviewed Saturday on the Dov Hikind radio show, commnunity activist and president of The National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education Rabbi Shea Hecht said he believes Agriprocessors’ former manager Sholom Rubashkin “will be vindicated.”
Rabbi Hecht said that the Rubashkin case puts all Orthodox Jews on trial, claiming that the U.S. justice system needs improvement. As an example, the rabbi cited the recent New Jersey arrests in which every defendant with a Jewish last name had bail raised to double or triple that of their non-Jewish counterparts.
Rabbi Hecht was interviewed by guest host Joe Lazar.
