Dont know this family or anyone at all but I just gotta know- who is the old zaidy holding the newborn baby and who is the baby? The most beautiful and heartwarming picture -it speaks volumes.

Mazal tov!
invei hagefen binvei hagefen! a beautiful simcha for both families.
The zeidy is Berl Zaltsman, the chazzan from Samarkand, in whom the Rebbe took great pride.

Flatbush yid
Beautiful pictures.
Before Rubashkin was freed, people used to say how will mossiach bring unity with so may types of yidden. After Rubashkinwas freed and every frum yid from Boro park to williamsburg crown heights lakewood And every country where yidden lived, danced together out of Simcha from the bottom of their hearts. It was a tiny peak into a mossiach moment. There never was such unity as far back as har Sinai. This may be the greatest generation today. Yes. We may not be on the level of Tzaddikim a hundred years ago or a thousand years ago or of course two thousand years ago. But with the powerful opposition of social media etc. no generation had its youngsters exposed to such sweeping negativity. Yes this is our beautiful generation. The mossiach generation.

I believe R. Berel Zaltzman is the choson's great grandfather, not grandfather.

Rabbi Berel Zaltzman is the Chosson's grandfather and the baby is the Chosson's niece, Rabbi Zaltzman's great granddaughter.
