The Kinus Hashluchos is less than a week away and in preparation for it, some of the Kinus vaad members met with representatives of the NYPD and the relevant security agencies to ensure a safe and enjoyable weekend for all.
“Security is always our priority. We are here to make sure that every single person in attendance feels safe on every corner of Crown Heights, and throughout New York,” said the Kinus coordinator, Rabbi Mendel Kotlarsky.
The annual women’s convention is always a concern for the NYPD, with police working closely with Kinus organizers to make sure visitors and residents are protected and safe.
“Our concern is to make sure to keep everyone safe during this time,” 71st Precinct Community Affairs Officer Vinny Martinos told COLlive. “We are making sure to secure all targets, and bringing in extra resources such as high tech equipment, security dogs, and extra resources that we have available,” he said.
From a-z in every single area… Rabbis Kotlarsky, Rabbi Nejar, the entire Kinus team, the NYPD and their teams, and the incredible CH community for hosting… HUGE THANK YOU!
thank you so much NYPD
