A young Jewish woman walking on Kingston Avenue on Friday was punched by a black male in an unprovoked attack, the second within 24 hours against another Jew.
The woman was walking on Kingston Avenue near Lincoln Place at approximately 1:00 pm on Friday, when a black man came towards her and punched her in the arm.
The perpetrator is described as a black male, about 5.10/6 ft, with black jacket and pants, black shoes, and matted dreadlocks.
Following the attack, the man ran to Eastern Parkway, and then towards Albany Avenue.
The attack was witnessed by some other women, who encouraged the young woman to call the police and file a report, saying they had seen him do the same to someone else shortly before that.
The victim, although shaken, was not injured.
A report has been filed with the police.
This attack is the latest in a string of recent incidents including a mugging at knifepoint, a Jewish man punched and thrown to the ground and a man punched in the chest.
In response to the recent incidents, the NYPD informed that there will be six additional patrol cars every day in the areas that have experienced the most incidents, with additional officers assigned to Kingston Avenue on foot.

The woman herself may have been tznius. But us Jews as a whole have a lot of growing to do in the realm of ruchnius. Organize and protest to be in front of the 71st precinct and tip off the non-Jewish media for publicity.
Demand more freedom for civilians to be able to protect themselves. Demand they actually grant citizens’ requests for licences to carry firearms for defense. Courts have ruled the police have no obligation to protect, yet they restrict citizens from protecting themselves.
