Why not encourage the parents to keep more mitzvos

Since the parents got married as they felt they needed to connect to hashem why not encourage they do more mitzvos. So many rebbe stories of how doing mitzvos saved sick children. Specifically check mezuzos and kashrut and taharat hamishpocha

Tears fall freely in my office now, down to the desk I am typing on. I will pray for Ariel, and I will pray for Navi too. She may be in a better place, but she has a big job to do.. i WAS crying the whole time-the expression that a mother b-comes stronger than a lion-I have no words-everyone should see it and realize that we complain about dumb things-esp the part about sAYING THILIM WAS VERY MOVING
