Leah Barouk, lovingly known to many as “Morah Leah,” has been fighting a terrible illness and is awaiting an urgent bone marrow transplant to save her life!
Since the only match they could find is a half-match, she desperately needed to relocate to a Boston hospital which specializes in performing such a transplant.
Leah has been a loving, dedicated teacher to hundreds of students over the past 40 years. She has been out of work for over 7 months and will continue to miss work for at least another year. This fund is to cover her out-of-pocket medical expenses, rent in the new location, utilities, necessary flights, car, etc.
We are raising $60,000 to help cover the costs of her care in Boston. Please help in any way you can. We appreciate all your support and Tefilllos for Leah bas Rochel. May we hear good news soon IYH!

I think everyone who sends their kids to LEC preschool can tell you what a special person Morah Leah is… always a big smile for everyone, even those children who aren’t her students! IyH, she should have a complete refuah shelema, with as little pain as possible.
