R’ Moshe Weiss, a resident of Crown Heights, passed away on Sunday, 3 Av, 5778.
He was 67.
Originally from Jerusalem, R’ Moshe was a longtime resident on Sterling Street in Crown Heights and davened at Empire Shteibel.
Known as a humble and unassuming Chosid, R’ Moshe worked for many years at Empire Press print shop in Crown Heights.
He is survived by his wife Shterna Weiss (nee Brod), and children Dovid Weiss – California; Mendy Weiss, Tzirel Beitch, Leah Abramovitch and Chaim Weiss of Crown Heights; and grandchildren.
The levaya will be held on Monday passing by 770 Eastern Parkway at 10:45 AM.
Shiva will be at 414 Sterling St.
Shachris will be 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30
Mincha and maariv will be bizman.
The house will be open all day for Shiva up until 10pm.

The tears I’m now shedding at this shockingly sad news, do little to ease the pain of the loss of this amazingly wonderful, thoughtful, kind and considerate man, named Moishe Weiss.
The Crown Heights Community, the Chabad Community has lost a very talented and expansive soul.
I worked with Moishe a number of years at ‘The Algemeiner Journal.’
It was always a joy and pleasure to be with him.

So sorry to hear about R’ Moshe’s passing.
For many years he attended Rabbi Labkowski’s גמרא shiur. He treated everyone respectfully and kindly. We will miss him greatly.
