Yeshiva Tiferes Bachurim at the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, NJ, recently held their annual Torah Discovery Week with over 25 participants.
Getting a head-start on “summer,” the program began on Monday, May 28, Memorial Day And ran one week until Monday, June 4.
“We had an extraordinary program this year. Every moment was packed with inspiration and excitement and scintillating study,” commented Rabbi Yaakov Wagner.
Participants got to study with and learn from Rabbi Zalman Dubinsky, Rabbi Chaim Brafman, Rabbi Dovid Dick, Rabbi Yaakov Wagner and Rabbi Boruch Hecht.
An unprecedented number of Rabbis and guest lecturers were involved from afar and many came in person, among them: Rabbi Yisroel Bernath – Montreal Canada; Rabbi Chaim Schapiro, Menahel Tomchei Temimim and Smicha Program in Morristown; Rabbi Michoel Gourarie – Sydney, Australia; Rabbi Kivi Greenberg – Ewing NJ; Rabbi Shais Taub – Five Towns, NY; Rabbi Shalom Lubin – Parsipanny NJ; Rabbi Eli Kornfeld of Clinton, NJ; and Rabbi Efraim Piekarsky, Rabbi AH Levine and Rabbi Yakov Werde, all of Morristown.
Shaya (Jack) Kestenbaum, who came from Riverdale, NY, said: “This last week was unlike any Yeshiva experience I’ve had before. Opened my eyes to a world of meaningful and inspirational Yiddishkeit which I hope to take with me after Yeshiva.”
