Need some chicken soup?
During a crisis, illness, or traumatic event, shluchim are always there, bringing comfort and warmth to those who need it.
Chabad on Call, a project of Merkos Suite 302, seeks to empower shluchim who service medical centers through education, networking, and practical resources.
The first Chicken Soup Conference for the Shliach on Call will take place, G-d willing, on Friday, 2 Tammuz (June 15, 2018) at the Jewish Children’s Museum.
The kinus is open to all shluchim and will provide tools for navigating the social, cultural, psychological, and halachic issues that arise when dealing with illness and bereavement.
The kinus will feature discussions on end-of-life halacha, strategies and counseling tools for bereavement and illness, and practical tips on doing outreach in a hospital.
Shluchim wishing to attend should contact [email protected] to reserve a spot.

Rabbi Mendy K and Suite302 does it again
one of my kids was injured on shabbos and my husband had to take him to the emergency room. it was so wonderful for both my husband and son to see rabbi klein at the hospital, and be able to walk back to his house with him. they would have had to spend the remainder of shabbos in the hospital (hours!) if they didn’t see rabbi klein there! rebbetzin klein was so gracious to them as well. THANK YOU to the kleins and to all shluchim for your ahavas yisroel.
