Boys Send Sweet Notes to Houston

Boys of grades 3 and 4 of Cheder Lubavitch of Morristown sent sweet greetings to victims of the hurricane flooding in Houston, Texas.

On the first day of school, boys heard from the principal R' Ari Wilschanski about the Roshei Teivos of Elul and the importance of adding to their Avoda- towards others and within themselves.

Their second day in Cheder, Kita Gimmel and Daled created Rosh Hashana cards to send to Houston's flood victims. Boys decorated cards and sent honey sticks to the shluchim in Texas to distribute to Yidden and lift their spirits for the New Year.

From the letter they signed and sent:

Dear Shluchim,

A big Yasher Koach for all the amazing work you do every day- fulfilling the Rebbes shlichus and bringing more light to the world.

We want to especially thank you for all the help you have given to the Jewish community throughout the Houston area, and for all Jews and lhvadil non-Jews that you have helped from the storms and flooding from Hurricane Harvey.
In Cheder we learned on our first day of school how stands for different psukim. These psukim discuss Torah, Tefillah, Gemilus Chasadim, and Teshuva.

As a way to add in our Gemilus Chasadim, we made Rosh Hashana cards, and purchased honey sticks, so that you can distribute them to Jewish families needing help and support. This should IYH lead to the fifth " of that the Rebbe teaches us: about the Geulah.

We are proud to partner with you to make a Kiddush Hashem and Kiddush shem Lubavtich.

The Aibeshter should bentch you and your families with abundant and revealed good, and the koach you need to do you shlichus to bring Moshiach!
