Bringing together some of Chabad’s best talent—in songwriting, music, singing, art, graphic design, and video editing—Tzivos Hashem has produced a one-of-a-kind music video.
To the tune of the stirring “Tiku Bachodesh” niggun, the song begins with the story of a Chossid travelling to spend Tishrei with his Rebbe. Upon returning to his hometown, fellow chassidim beg him to share his experience with theme. “What did you see; what did you hear?” they ask. The chossid responds that just being near the Rebbe gives strength for the coming year.
The song is dedicated to all the families of Crown Heights who host the guests who visit Crown Heights to spend Tishrei with the Rebbe.
Tzivos Hashem extends a big thanks to all those who helped make this project a reality

very nice how it was put in!!

totally agree with #57. couldn’t have said it better.
very nice
thank you for sharing
The song is about getting chayus for the coming year. Now, I’m gonna be very blunt: there is chayus in 770, the translation of chayus is life! In 770 you feel Rebbe alive and therefore you’ll draw life from there, in the ohel, I’m sorry to say and it kills me to say it, but you feel the Rebbe the opposite of alive… So how are you supposed to draw chayus from the ohel for the coming year??
Thank you.
Shana Tova everyone, may this year be the year that moshiach comes!!!
We’ll said on the dot
thank you got it right! the rebbes sichos teach us that
770 is the place and the רבי “was there” AND “IS HERE”!
besides for that beautiful beautiful song
Retzoneinu lirois es malkeinu!!
Beautiful words to a great new song, please make more
So nice, so emotional really gave me a wake up call for tishrei with the rebbe! In these dark moments of golus only posativity & things like this can shine through all that’s going on, thank you for making this, & let’s all try learning for this new year to keep on just doing good & together we’ll shine thru this choishech & we won’t just know & feel the rebbes here, but actually see it, bikarov!
This video was so well made and meaningful. And perfect timing- i can go into tishrei with the right frame of mind.
i am your biggest fan, your voice is outstanding. thank you for bringing this song to life, so beautiful
There is mention of 770 in the video. There are pictures of chassid in 770. There is no mention or picture of the ohel
Zalman Klienman is the greatest chassic artict of all time…so underated
wow so beautiful and inspiring thank you!
Spot on!! Thanks for making that clear.
Beutiful video, looking forward to more
Ksiva vachasima tova leshana tova umesuka to all
Me we merit to celebrate this Rosh Hashana with the Rebbe in Eretz Yisroel!
We want to see the rebbe
mendel. may you grow to be a chossid bimlo muvon hamilo.shnas hatzlocho
to put together such words in such a stirring manner and about such a pivotal zman in the chassidishe calender requires true hergesh chassidi. thank you rabbi sternberg for conveying this in such a heartfelt manner. i can picture a chossid ,bochur or yungerman, young and old with their heads on their hands in emootional contemplation as they try to transport themselves to makom shrtzon kulono nimtzoim shom. may you have much hatzlacha in conveying these values to our adolescent and next generation in all the capacities you so succesfully fill. kvt to all chassidim
What a beautiful duet! Seriously, every time I hear Benny Friedman he just gets better and better.
The lyrics and video was so moving! Hard to hold back tears…. Rebono shel olam, it’s twenty years! Genug shoin!
This is so beautiful! tears are coming down 🙂 This surely strikes a chord in the heart of every lubavitcher!
there is only footage of 770 why not the ohel (to note that 770 was not mentioned just shown)!!!!!!
It is so touching!
Well done!
sorry but when moshiach comes 770 is sanding right next to the bais hamikdash and the rebbes palace
yechi hamelech shana tova
so nice!!!

thank you.
#campsong!
Beis Rabeonu shebebavel is permanent, it will be attached to the beis hamikdash (learn the sicha on 770)
btw the original words to the there is yechi and venizke zen zich….. i dont know why its not in this time….at least venizke
Is it possible to download? How?
Thank you, over all, very well done.
770 IS OUR HOME AND THE REBBES HOME. THE OHEL IS A VERY NICE PLACE,BUT PPL WHO GO TO YHE OHEL FOR SHABBOS AND YOM TOV IT MIGHT GIVE SOME VERY NICE INSPERATION BUT TO LIVE THER IS LIKE LIVING DEAD.its relly sad. the rebbe shlita also said in a sicha that the noshi hador [the rebbe] of our gen. is not irrelevant for him to be ther.
SO WHAT I’M TRYING TO BRING OUT IS DONT WAST A SHABBOS IN THE OHEL, BECUS ” MOSHIACH IS ON HIS WAY” COME TO &&) THE REAL THING
YECHI HAMELCH!!!!!!!
so beautiful, definitely evokes emotions of tefillah and emunah
Lubavitch is not the ohel! Should you go, is there something there, that’s for each to decide! But 770 is beis hamikdash in galus, that’s where you go to be “oleh regel” and that’s where shchina shines (all based on what Rebbe tells us in sichos)
So when you travel to spend Tishrei with Rebbe, it’s in the Rebbe’s daled amos, Rebbe’s shul, Rebbe’s home!
Lchaim friends! Gut yom tov!!!
I have no words!!!!!!
Awesome!!!!!!
Benny, and Eli you guys out did yourselves Again!!!!!
7 and 8, see number 6.
To 11, 770 is also temporary, it’s beis rabeinu sheBEBOVEL when Moshiach comes we’ll have the beis hamikdosh. I think number 6 answered very well.
With the new year upon us we need to focus on the positive and try to find what unifies us rather than what divides us.
The Rebbe unites us – hopefully.
This video was touching and powerful. It hits the spot.
Let’s accept it and appreciate it for what it is.
And for the naysayers out there or critics there are different forums out there. Help yourselves.
A Gut Gebentched Gezunte Yahr to all.
I have heard this song in english so many times but this video with the music and singing literally has given me the chills. Wow! Thak you to all the producers and the beautiful talent.
Love the art coming alive, great song too!!!!
It seems to me that this is a nostalgic film to depict what it was like for the chassidim of the old country to visit their Rebbe for Tishrei. In those cases they went to the local shul and simchas beis hashoavos and farbrengins, which even now-a-days take place in CH and 770. People can feel whatever they want about the Rebbe. The true presence of a Tzaddik is by his kever, we all know that. I don’t think anyone is throwing that under the bus. Tishrei is not about going to the Ohel, its about celebrating and farbrenging in… Read more »
thank you ! I find this video very inspirational.
as a side note, I love the 3D effect on the paintings.
and #6 – very well said
the ohel should have been mentioned or put in footage. surprised. you guys know better…
SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you!!
תִּקְעוּ בַּחוֹדֶשׁ Sung By; Benny Friedman and Eli Marcus A story old yet so new Breaks our heart yet so true A story of חַסִידִים traveling to ליּובּאַוויטשׁ Coming to their רבּי, to be with Him once a year A month goes past the time draws near He must depart from what’s most dear Returning to his city where חַסִידִים await him Tell us dear חָסִיד, what did you see? PLEASE!
While I do agree that the Ohel is is a big part our life today (sadly), and perhaps it should have been part of the video. But for haven sake why does everything have become an issue. this is such a nice peace, enjoy the inspiration and let other be inspired.
Lets hope that with achdus hachassdim we will be zocha to not have to go to the Ohel this year and we will all spend tishrei in the beis hamikdosh hashlishi
BEAUTIFUL!!
Eliyahu Zion the Matriarch of the Niasoffs has never missed a single Tishrei with the Rebbe with his Yibadlu- Lorech Yomim holy wife and over a minyan of children kah.
Being a lover of nigunim, he is certainly is singing along with us all, in this moving heartfelt professional production. One of the best Chabad has yet seen. This professional team can accomplish a lot….may this be the beginning of many more……over 5700 hits in one day!!!!
770 Is our home. It’s the Rebbe’s home. The ohel, as important as it is, and It is Extremely important – is still only a temporary place. It’s not home.
well done
Amazing video!
Why is the ohel not mentioned even once in the video, isnt that the main part of traveling to the Rebbe today?
Shouldn’t the Ohel be part of the experience of visiting the… Rebbe???
“The ohel” and “770” are just terms, it should just be referred to as going to the Rebbe, bc that’s what it really is. For some the ohel is where they feel the Rebbe’s presence more, for others 770 is where they feel the Rebbe’s presence more. The song mentions going to the Rebbe and for those that feel the Rebbe in the ohel more, that’s what it’s referring to. For those who feel the Rebbe’s presence more in 770 that’s what it is referring to. The point of the song is that a chosid gets chayus for the rest… Read more »
so inspiring!!
Finally a Lubavitcher Chassid composes a niggun about the Rebbe and Chassidus, that our children can listen to and get inspired.
Well done. Both sound so good together.
Liking the good old fashion melody – the modern stuff is just not the same.
Shkoyach
How is it possible that the Rebbe’s Ohel (beyond essential to the experience of traveling to the Rebbe today) is not mentioned even once in the video?
Gav, you did such a great job!!! this video wouldn’t have been possible with out you!!!!!
