A Torah will be welcomed this week in memory of Mrs. Devorah Krinsky, wife of Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, Mazkir of the Rebbe and Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, to honor her first yartzeit.
The writing of the Torah was begun at her Shloshim and will be completed at her first yahrtzeit on 10 Kislev.
The completion will take place at the Ohel Chabad-Lubavitch center in Cambria Heights, Queens, near the Rebbe’s Ohel, on Wednesday, Yud Kislev from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.
Mrs. Krinsky was a partner and pillar of support to her husband as he served the Rebbe. Her warmth and humor, her quick wit, practical common sense, and her concern for others complemented her dignified comportment.
With characteristic joi de vivre, she established her Crown Heights home as a lively hub for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family, and for international visitors and dignitaries to 770.
What a great lady! Yihi zichra boruch. Can’t believe a year has passed since her yortzeit.
