You’ve probably heard the phrase: “Get while the getting is good.” Well, now is the time to rent commercial space locally when spaces are widely available at insanely low prices.
Since the COVID19 pandemic, more people have started to work from home, creating commercial space vacancies in the center of Crown Heights, which has driven the price of rent down significantly. Waiting for someone to have the bright idea of renting out private cubicle spaces within a large, clean, quiet office space with printer, scanner etc and good phone reception – for all of us who are working remotely and want to do so out of the house in a working environment. And this at a Reasonable monthly price per cubicle, no price gouging, as in that case we will rather continue to work from home.
Why would working in a space full of cubicles of people be safer than just working at your regular office? The point of working remotely is that people aren’t congregating together and spreading covid, right? Unless you’re talking about freelancers who never had office space to begin with?
This is not about social distancing (though it could be done in that way). It is about the many people who are working remotely or are planning to- for any reason: either because their company did not open it’s brick and mortar since covid, or people who decided they did not want the commute and manhattan anymore for quality of life reasons, or freelancers. ‘The point of working remotely’ is that people sometimes have choices, for a variety of reasons.
