The many participants at the 2nd Annual REJOICE Jewish Music & Culture Festival in South Brunswick, NJ, were exposed to Chabad.
The celebration of the vitality of the Jewish community in Central New Jersey drew thousands from all walks of life.
Rabbi Levi Azimov, Director of Chabad of South Brunswick was invited to address the crowd and blow the shofar, as customary in the month of Elul.
His children kept the Lubavitch spirit at the festival with reciting the 12 Persukim verses with the crowd.
Hundreds stopped at the Chabad booth to lay Tefillin, pick up a pair of Shabbos candles or Jewish calendars and holidays guides.
Children received the Tishrei edition of the Tzivos Hashem magazine.
The booth was coordinated by Benzion Shemtov, Avremi Wolf , Shloimi Azimov and Shalom Klein.
Among the artists who appeared were Mr. Ray, Klez Dispensers, Makhelat Hamerkaz, Mama Doni Band, Tsu Fil Duvids and Jam Session.
