Close to 100 participants attended Mikvah.org’s annual Melave Malka for the Shluchos who join their husbands during Kinus HaShluchim each year.
This event was expertly coordinated by Kraindy Klein, with Chassi Rivkin and Chani Zalmanov. A delicious and elegantly presented meal was arranged and served by Mrs. Brocha Friedman and her assistants in the home of the very gracious Rabbi Meir and Shaindy Gutnick.
This year, the Gutnicks opened their home to the Shluchos, as they graciously do every year, in loving memory of Devora bas R’Avraham, esteemed Shlucha and mother of Rabbi Meir Gutnick, who recently passed away.
Rabbi Asher Deren of South Africa opened the evening with heartwarming inspiration and chizuk. Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Chitrik of Tzfas gave a few words in tribute of Rabbi Aharon Eliezer Ceitlin a”h, who was a personal friend and fellow shliach.
The highlight of the evening was an introduction to the magnificent new PowerPoint Presentation developed by Mikvah.org in collaboration with JLI featuring a sneak preview intro by Mrs. Chaya M. Klein, followed by Q & A with Mrs. Estee Schneerson and Mrs. Mindy Wallach.
This JLI/MIkvah.org presentation features a professional series of slides, accompanied by a teacher’s manual, complete with a wealth of material to inspire any woman, from any background and every level of observance, on the concept of Mikvah and Taharas Hamishpacha.
Brought to you by the experts in curriculum and the specialists on the subject of Taharas Hamishpacha, this presentation – the first of its kind – not only contains a wealth of information, it lists the sources for every single concept mentioned! No more hemming and hawing your way out of finding a source for the material you impart! It is all right there at your fingertips!
Completely customizable, and adaptable to other languages – simply give the information over in your words, in your language and change the text on the slides to suit your needs!
The women were amazed and pleased at the concept of a presentation that they can adapt to suit their needs – from individual to group presentation, from a short, one time get together, or a multi session workshop.
The evening concluded with a beautiful Melave Malka Baal Shem Tov story by Mrs. Bluma Wineberg of Kansas City.
