yup…… esther friedman….she was a mover and shaker during all the kinus hashluchos…. But.,…… i have the back story. When the Rebbe once asked the shluchos to come in to new york during a kinus hashluchim because he wanted to give out a tshura and a $5 bill enclosed…..i came to new york and once there, thought how unfair it was that although the Rebbe personally recognized us, the men did not give us even a glimpse into their kinus…I wanted to at least hear what was going on.
