Shluchim Kids from around the world spent the last 10 days getting ready for Yud Shevat and will be joining a live rally and interactive family farbrengen tomorrow (Wednesday).
As we approach Yud Shevat, the histalkus of the Frierdiker Rebbe and the day the Rebbe became Rebbe, almost 700 young shluchim and shluchos from across the globe are finishing a special 10 day Hachanah program.
Arranged by CYH – Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim a division of The Shluchim Office, the special hachanah included online learning, bal peh, podcasts, mivtzoim ideas and missions to be carried out by the children.
“Every single day at our dinner table our whole family learnt it together,” Nechama Schmerling, a young shluchah in Venice, Florida, said.
The hachana also focused on bringing together both parts of Yud Shvat, the children learned teachings of the Rebbe and the Frierdiker Rebbe with practical lessons they could apply in their Shlichus.
“We are so excited that so many children participated in this hachanah,” said Mrs. Sara Guez of CYH, “it means so much to us that the next generation of shluchim are entering Yud Shevat with such a warmth and chayus in hiskashrus. At the rally a special video will be shown of how the children strengthened in their Hiskashrus.”
One of the sections of the hachanah focused on daily entries in Hayom Yom, with practical ways how they relate to the daily lives of the children on Shlichus. The 10 day hachanah concludes tomorrow with a live rally. At the rally three beautiful framed pictures of the Rebbe will be raffled off to participants of the Hachana.
Tune in live on Wednesday, at 1pm EST for this special rally. Besides for the live rally, CYH will also be hosting a special Yud Shevat interactive family farbrengen enabling everyone to join at a time that best suits them.
