The new popular Sarah Feldman modest fashion brand is having its first Pop-Up shop in New York this Sunday November 19, from 11am – 6pm at Mimulo, 334 Albany Avenue.
Sarah Feldman, otherwise known as “Rabbi’s Wife” on Facebook and Instagram, is the Rebbetzin of the historic Gardens Shul in Cape Town, South Africa.
It began with her blog rabbiswife.com, which gave a window into her life as Rebbetzin, Shlucha, wife, mother and community leader with inspirational, relevant posts on daily living.
Soon she was interviewed on local South African radio and featured in magazines like Fair Lady and Marie Claire who were particularly inspired by a Rebbetzin who promoted a lifestyle of healthy living – Sarah is a promoter of daily exercising and plant based eating – and who clearly has a great eye for style and fashion but in the spirit of traditional Jewish modesty.
Through her blog Sarah was contacted by many around the world asking for modest fashion tips and advice and this eventually led to Sarah starting her own clothing line with styles that are timeless classics yet are elegant, trendy and chic.
“I believe that being Frum does not mean being frumpy,” Sarah explains. “I am passionate about helping people look good and feel good, nurturing healthy relationships and radiating a positive, relevant and inspired Judaism.”
Sarah’s full line of dresses – all under $100 – can be viewed at www.sarahfeldman.co.za and will be available – with select items on sale – at the Pop-Up.
