Hundreds gathered for an event marking the Shloshim – 30 days since the passing of Rabbi Kuti Rapp OBM, on Tuesday evening at Lubavitch Yeshiva in Crown Heights.
Rabbi Rapp was a Mashgiach at the Central Tomchei Tmimim Yeshiva at 770, who also directed mivtzoim activities at JFK International Airport.
A spirited activist for Israeli causes, Rabbi Rapp’s Shloshim event coincided with the 10th anniversary of the expulsion from Gush Katif, of which he was a vocal opponent.
MC for the event was Rabbi Dovid Sholom Pape. Beis Din Rabbi Yaakov Schwei spoke, as well as Rabbi Rapp’s children and members of the 770 hanhallah.
Other speakers included El Al personnel and fellow activists for Israeli causes.
A special Teshura printed for the occasion was distributed to participants.

Just learned that Samir Kuntar has finally met his notorious end! Please read below this report from Arutz Sheva today. Reports are coming out that Israel targeted and killed the notorious child murderer Samir Kuntar today (Wednesday). According to the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the Israel Air Force struck a vehicle carrying five fighters loyal to dictator Bashar al-Assad.
