Crown Heights Young Entrepreneurs, the organization that provides unmatched business guidance to budding entrepreneurs here in Crown Heights, has proven itself to be a force to be reckoned with. Dubbed “CHYE”, the organization led by the enthusiastic Rabbi Yehoshua Werde, is the only one of its kind in the neighborhood.
CHYE often holds unique events where a diverse group of career-driven individuals meet to network, share personal aspirations, and gather to gain business insight from successful and knowledgeable mentors and savvy entrepreneurs.
Now, they’re back with an all new event that is certain to arouse aspiring entrepreneurs, while serving as a catalyst in navigating attendees toward ultimate success. On March 27, 2014, CHYE will proudly host an awe-inspiring 2 part auspicious event, aptly titled, “BIZTALK 14”; and will include a famed guest keynote speaker who is also an entrepreneur extraordinaire.
Meet Moshe Weiss: Rabbi and schoolteacher turned product developer. Weiss is recognized for his stint on ABC’s Shark Tank, where he successfully secured a deal with investor Daymond John on the show. Hailing from St. Paul, MN, Weiss is no stranger to humble beginnings and clearly understands the value in perseverance. His innovative product, The Soundbender, underscores the significance of the event; anything is possible when the right connection is made.
Moshe Weiss captures the true essence of what being an entrepreneur is all about. With his speech, “Make Your OY VEY Go Away”, Weiss will share his story and informative advice, coupled with his easy nature and quick wit, among budding entrepreneurs and business owners who attend the event.
Following his speech, the event will transition into part 2: The Business Exchange. “The Business Exchange” is where men and women will each have the opportunity to join a series of round tables, each led by lucrative CEO’s and experienced entrepreneurs, who have all providentially built up thriving businesses of their own. These shrewd businessmen and businesswomen will generously share their secrets and tips for rising to the top.
Over the years, Crown Heights has incited tremendous growth; businesses are popping up and prospering. Yet, CHYE desires to further this growth. Rabbi Werde hopes that this event will encourage aspiring entrepreneurs to take their ideas to the next level. “We are here to make that happen,” he says.
The event is dedicated to both men and women within the Crown Heights community. CHYE welcomes the professionals, freelancers, business owners, recent grads, and anyone merely hoping to grow, succeed, and thrive in the business world. You don’t want to miss this!

Are the Women’s tables separated from the men?
Really looking forward. Concerned however, that the womens table does not cover a vast array of topics like the mens. Would prefer to get more info covering the topics the men will be exposed to as well. Any suggestions?
Its crazy how it took this long to bring Rabbi Moshe to CH. I can’t wait to hear him talk.
Looking forward to it XD
I’m sure Moshe Weiss’ talk will be a good one, he has a great sense of humor…!
